New work, defied me all the way through it - tried to hide behind my ideas, acted like a Ghost until I was able to draw it out. Working with abstract ideas is a discovery process very different than realism, and although I can do both, I truly enjoy the discovery process more when I start with a blank page and work through sometimes scribbles that lead to ideas.
