While driving on US-1 in the Florida Keys, while in Islamorada, this image struck me as so inspiring. With the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other, we were but a speck on the map driving down the Keys. The water colors are so charged with energy and vibrant blues and greens, I was able to get a screen capture and will use it to inspire a new piece of work. My work will be different, but it will have come from this place on land and my heart.
